Our Services

Culinary Care Session
Our primary service offered at Culinary Care Collective is an in-home culinary session that includes meal preparation for the week, as well as childcare provided during the visit. Each week we will provide a customized menu tailored to the families nutritional needs and dietary preferences, and an intentional lesson plan that engages children in the cooking process, expanding their knowledge on the food they are eating. We will source high-quality, organic ingredients from our network of local farmers and grocers in Boulder County. We will cook the agreed upon meals for that week during this session, as well as prepare basic versatile components that can be easily combined into simple dishes for the children or the whole family. We will leave the kitchen organized and spotless, with instructions for reheating dishes or preparing easy to make meals depending on the families requests. The child engagement will be infused with a Montessori inspired approach to help kids build a strong foundation of kitchen skills, so they can help with assembling and preparing said meals throughout the week. This service can consist of one longer session or multiple shorter sessions for the given week depending upon what the family is looking for.

Complimentary Consultation
We offer a complimentary consultation for anyone that is interested in our service where we will discuss nutritional goals, dietary restrictions and food preferences. We will also take note of what families are looking for in terms of childcare and support, what they want their children to learn and what the kids like to do for fun. During this consultation, we will determine how many prepared meals are desired for the week, how many hours of service are needed and whether one longer session or multiple shorter sessions is preferred. We will schedule sessions in the evening if parents want a moment to relax after work, or in the morning if they’d like to have a slower start to their day. If you are interested in learning more, click the contact tab or book consultation tab above to get started.

Specialized Meal Planning & Groceries
Based on the notes we take from our consultation, we will craft a menu of nutritious and delicious meals for the week. We offer curated menus that address specific needs, such as preferences for plant-based, protein-rich, pregnancy/postpartum specific or child development informed care. We have a growing archive of tried and true recipes that we will pull from to design each menu. We will send this menu to the family after completion, and upon approval, we will source all of the ingredients from our network of local farmers and grocers.

In Home cooking & Prep
Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Specialty Snacks, Dessert, & Beverages
Our menu will consist of a variety of meals for different times of the day depending on where families are looking for assistance. An example of this would be gathering ingredients for easy to prepare breakfasts and lunches, and meal prepping a few dinners for the week. We also will offer child-friendly, nutritious snacks for kids to eat between meals and health-conscious beverages made from simple ingredients. And we love to bake, so we’d be happy to prepare some sweet treats to be enjoyed throughout the week.

Intentional Child Engagement
Cooking Involvement & Education
Based on the menu of the week and the age group of the children, we create a lesson plan and/or activity centered around the food, its ecology and permaculture, nodding to the regenerative nature of the earth and instilling children with reciprocal understandings of the planet through their food. Learning is meant to be fun and not something just experienced from one sense sitting down. We love to teach with dance, songs, yoga and any appropriate embodiment or movement practice that can help us enjoy reconnecting and learning the ways of the earth through the farm to the kitchen! We also want to encourage creativity through immersive art projects centered around the locally sourced ingredients and their origins and functions. As a part of our child engagement service, we provide each child with a scrapbook where they can write their recipes that we teach them and decorate their pages based on their experiences of the flavors. We bring a Montessori inspired approach to asking the children to assist in some hands on simple kitchen activities and over time, teaching them to cook simple to even complex recipes on their own, depending on the age group.

Kitchen, Fridge, and Pantry Organization
During the culinary care session, we will organize the kitchen to make meal time easier and more accessible. We will arrange the contents of the fridge, freezer, and pantry, so that everything has a place in an aesthetic space. We will store all the dishes and additional ingredients properly for maximum longevity, and provide instructions for reheating and preparation.

Event & Catering Service
Dinner Parties, Baby Showers, Birthday Parties & More!
In addition to our primary culinary care sessions, we offer catering services and event planning for all of your special celebrations. We will craft multi-course meals for your dinner parties, specialized snacks for your gatherings, and customized cakes for your birthdays! Our event planning services are especially geared toward baby showers and children' s birthday parties, for which we will curate and assemble all of the decorations, games and activities to entertain your guests, as well as provide nourishment with a variety of delicious dishes. We love bringing the community together and are very enthusiastic about working within specific themes for each celebration.
