Our Collective Impact
Culinary Care Collective holds the central goal to help people at every level of our business. Our mission is to provide intentional care that ripples far beyond the home into the greater collective, creating a meaningful difference in every life we touch. We have tailored our services to support women, mothers, and families in our community. Read below to learn more about our client, community, social, and team impact.
By supporting our small business, you help make this impact possible!

As the saying goes "it takes a village to raise a child," however, in our individualistic culture we see mothers wearing many hats and doing everything on their own. We want to change this and create better support systems within our community so that families feel supported and connected. We are working to alleviate some of the parenting responsibilities mothers take on by providing weekly nutritious meals that nourish the whole family. In this process, we hope to build a network of families that can lean on each other for support, so they don't have to raise their children all on their own.
Client Impact
Providing nourishing meals, household support, and enriching culinary experiences for mothers, children and families
We believe that children are the future and a unique element we offer with our services is providing childcare and education. What a child eats determines how they grow, develop and function, and we don't take this lightly. We not only want to help kids get excited about what's on their plate, but we also teach them about where their food comes from, easy, safe and simple ways of cooking and much more. We offer lesson plans alongside our custom personal chef menus to engage each child with the cooking process, so that they can learn skills that they will carry throughout life. This fosters a deeper sense of respect for the planet's resources that sustain us all.

Community Impact
Reinvesting in our community by sourcing through local farmers, grocers, and small businesses
An important element of our business is to be of service to our community. One way we practice this is in the support we offer the families we work with, and another is by sourcing ingredients from local food ways in Boulder County. We feel that one of the best ways to pour into the community is by spending money locally and supporting small businesses. This provides our community with greater food security, as farmers can reinvest into growing and providing more food! In the trying times we are facing today with climate change, this is more important than ever. Through Sophie & Kaitlins food justice initiative, we have a network of farms, of of whom are passionate about what they do and share our desire to nourish the people of Colorado.
We choose to support them rather than big corporate grocery stores because we want to bridge the gap between consumer and producer. Click here to learn more about the farms and small businesses we are partnered with and understand the impact you are making in their life!

Social Impact
Allocating a portion of our proceeds toward organizations that provide support to mothers, children, and families
In the world we live in, money means power. Businesses are one of the greatest way to earn money. Unfortunately, there is an increasing disparity between how many people have access to the power money provides and the resources that come with it. We believe everyone has opportunity to make change by choosing where they spend their dollar.
Our goal at Culinary Care Collective is to support mothers and children in our community and we believe our service does just that. However, we acknowledge that our service is not accessible to all families, and so a portion of our profits will be donated to various women & BIPOC local organizations that provide resources to mothers and children who are at a disadvantage. We want to help you to nourish yourself & your family, and by choosing to support our small, women owned business you also get to help another mother do the same! We encourage our clients to pick an organization that they believe in to allocate their contributions to.
Below are organizations we work with:

Team Impact
Providing Opportunities for Young Women in College to do Work That Fulfills Them
Lastly, by choosing Culinary Care Collective, you are supporting us and making a huge difference in each of our lives. We are young pursuing our undergraduate degrees at Naropa University, all with great ambitions to make the world a better place. We all work jobs that we love, however we feel that we have more to offer the world. Each of us has something special we get to bring forth here at Culinary Care Collective.
Sophie and Kate share a deep passion for cooking and we are always looking for opportunities to express our love for our community through food. Often times this looks like bringing nourishing dishes to class or feeding our friends dinner during a study session. The service we provide gives us the opportunity to do this and make a real, tangible impact in the process.
Vivian and Kaitlin have a special place in their hearts for the little ones in our world. They have spent many years working with children and try to make an impact on each one with their love, care, and connection. Our service offers them the opportunity to connect with children in our community and share the collective appreciation for the planet and food through education, games, and creativity. We will each use the income gained from this enterprise to invest in other ideas we have to continue supporting our community, create more project to meet other needs, and to support ourselves as we finish our degrees.
We have the utmost gratitude for you in choosing us and we are so excited for the opportunity to make such an impact!
